The purpose of this course is to learn how information technology can be applied to financial analysis and to the management of financial institutions. Various artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as neural networks, genetic algorithm, case-based reasoning, fuzzy theory, etc, are introduced and the implementation processes of financial information systems are given.
This course introduces the basic concepts of finance, such as cash flow, investment, risk, return, valuation, capital budgeting, etc. Based on these concepts, students learn about financial decision making in corporate policies. The goal of this class is to satisfy the needs of students to understand the basic knowledge of finance.
